Circular drive to see Finn Falconry

In between all the house leaving yesterday and before an all new house toady we managed some time out.  Afternoon out in the sun, driving south on the A82 via Bridge of Orchy single track road, onto the A85 past Kilchurn castle, there is a small parking area making it possible to walk into the Castle or just a great photo point at a distance.

Onto Inverawe Country Park for Finn Falconry.  This is a great stop off if the time/day works for you.

Two flying displays, one Sunday and another Thursday at 2.30pm.  Birds are in attendance from about 12 noon and Hawk walks through the woodland are available by advance booking.

Paul has been keeping birds for over 30 years and enthusiastically passes on the knowledge in a entertaining way to all ages.

Then onto Oban for the Oban Seafood Hut.  Heading back home on the A828, passing Castle Stalker. If we had more time there would have been many more stop offs on the way.  This makes a great circular road trip with many attractions on the way but for us we only had an afternoon.
