House & Facilities
The front door and two reception rooms at the front of the house are for the exclusive use of guests. You can come and go as you please.
The cosy lounge has excellent views across Loch Leven and to the mountains beyond. It has plenty of books, magazines and games as well as local maps and information folders. You can plan your day’s excursions or relax with a cup of tea or coffee after a day of walking, climbing, exploring or visiting one of the hundreds of attractions.
The Breakfast Room
Our breakfast room is located at the front of the house with large windows making the most of the spectacular views. Being in an elevated spot it is the perfect place to look across Loch Leven and the mountains beyond.
In the breakfast room on cooler days and rainy days the wood burning stove is lit, so you can have a cosy time reading and relaxing on the leather sofa on the cooler, shorter days.
We offer a full cooked breakfast using fresh local produce where possible. Lighter cooked breakfasts are available like poached eggs on toasted crumpets or freshly cooked croissants with slices of Edam and local cheese. We also offer a self service area with a selection of fresh fruit, cereals, homemade yogurt, fruit juices, homemade fruit bread, various teas, fresh cafeteria coffee and we always cook (not microwave) a large pot of porridge each morning.
Packed lunches can be arranged at a cost of £6.00. These include triple sandwiches, cereal/energy bar, fruit, crisps and a drink. Flasks filled at no charge.
